Irish biodiversity art print depicting a very dandy cub playing lion through the dandelions!
Apart of the biodiversity series focusing on the link between our stunning native species and the forgotten weeds that are essential to their survival. I wanted to start these pieces to educate myself and share my love of nature.
Made from wool , then intricately detailed by hand using a single needle and finally transformed into this adorable print. This piece was inspired by a piece of fabric Molly found belonging to her grandmother. Adding this little trinket of memory for the bird's beak seemed to just make the piece as that's where she inherited her own love of a good chat.
Each print has its special meaning delightfully printed on an informational card with each print or frame. pls note the paper is A4 in size , with the print being marginally smaller to allow for multiple sized frames and easy trimming of required .
Frames are hand finished in an off white lime and may vary batch to batch as is the nature of handmade . Prints are single mounted or double mounted from time to time
